Cajun Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cooked chicken, julienned
1 onion, julienned
2 sweet peppers, julienned
2 Tablespoons Fajita seasoning
1 Tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chicken base
2 cups Béchamel sauce
2 Tablespoons cilantro, chiffonade
¼ box of fettuccine, cooked
Salt and pepper as needed
2 Tablespoon green onion, sliced
Method
In a large skillet, sauté the cooked chicken, onions, and peppers over medium heat until the onions become translucent and the peppers soften.
Add the fajita seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic, and stir well until fragrant.
Add the Béchamel sauce and stir until mixed throughout, then add the cilantro and continue to stir.
Add the cooked fettuccine, season with salt and pepper, and stir, cover, and heat thoroughly.
Add a small amount of milk or cream to change the consistency of the sauce if needed.
This recipe works well with shrimp instead of chicken.
