Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped parsley

  • ½ cup chopped cilantro

  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 Tablespoon dried Marjoram

  • 2 large garlic cloves

  • 1 shallot

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Place the parsley, cilantro, oregano, marjoram, garlic, and shallot into a food processor and pulse until roughly chopped

  2. Scrape ingredients into a small bowl and add the olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, and seasonings and stir well

  3. Use as a sauce for meat or a marinade for pre-cooking.
