Try our delicious Cucumber Canapes Made with a creamy mayo mixture, sliced cucumbers, and garnished with pimientos.
Cucumber Canapes
Ingredients
1 cup mayo
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
¼ medium onion, minced
1 Tablespoon minced chives
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon curry powder
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon fresh dill weed
1 loaf bread
2 cucumbers, sliced thin
1 jar pimientos
Method
In a food processor, combine the first 12 ingredients and blend until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours
Using a biscuit, or cookie cutter, form out circles from the bread, spread the mayo mixture on each slice, and top with sliced cucumbers. You can toast these in the oven as well before adding the cream cheese mixture, just let them cool first
Garnish with pimientos and more fresh dill
