Easy Fried Tofu
Ingredients
1 package of extra firm tofu
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup soy sauce
Method
Press and drain the tofu to release as much liquid as possible from the block
Cut into ½ inch dice and set aside
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the oil and get hot
Add the tofu into the oil, careful not to crowd the pan.
Cook each piece of tofu on each side until the tofu develops a nice color crust
Add the soy sauce and deglaze the pan with the soy sauce to perfume the tofu
Turn off the heat, remove from the pan onto a plate or bowl
Top with green onions, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds
