Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Ingredients
2 Tablespoon black pepper
2 Tablespoon lemon zest
1 Tablespoon Sea salt
Method
Zest the lemon and place the zest and the pepper on a cookie sheet with foil. Place in a 200-degree oven for about a half hour, just enough time to dry out the lemon zest.
Pull the mixture from the oven and mix in a bowl with the sea salt.
Grind seasonings with a mortar and pestle or in a food mill to reach the desired consistency.
Keep in an airtight container out of the sunlight for a couple of months.
