Lemon Tahini sauce is great for drizzling over salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables, or as a dip for veggies and pita bread. Its nutty taste and zesty lemon create a balanced flavor, and you can customize it with herbs and spices to your taste
Lemon Tahini Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup of water (adjust for desired consistency)
2 tablespoons avocado oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
Method
Add the tahini, avocado oil, fresh lemon juice, and salt to a mixing bowl.
Gradually add water while whisking the mixture. Continue until you reach your desired consistency. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add more water, a tablespoon at a time.
Taste the sauce and adjust the salt or lemon juice if needed.
Tahini sauce can be used as a vegetable dip, a salad dressing, or a sauce for grains and proteins.
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Stir well before using, as the sauce may thicken over time.
