Wet Wet Sauce
Ingredients
1 bunch green onions, sliced thin
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
2 Tablespoons minced ginger
3 Tablespoons chili flakes
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
1 cup vegetable oil
¼ cup tamari sauce
2 Tablespoons oyster sauce
3 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
Method
In a large (1 quart) heat-safe bowl. Add the green onion, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and sesame seeds.
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Pour slowly over the aromatic mixture in the bowl, stir well, and allow to cool a bit.
Stir in the tamari, oyster sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Transfer the mixture to a container with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate for up to three weeks.
